Thank you very much Eric, For the moment Lomatia polyzona is not listed in France (but in Italy for the closest country). I see that the yellow lines should be continuous for L. polyzona but I don't know if it is an absolute criteria? In the south of France there is also Lomatia belzebul. |

And L. belzebul seems to match better to your specimen: Tergite 1 has a yellow apex in polyzona and is completely black in belzebul as in your fly. Greetings, Eric Kloeckner |
