I'm sorting out all my photographs from last year, and came across these. I labelled them Cyrtopogon meyerduerii, but I don't see now why it shouldn't ne Lasiopogon cinctus. Can anyone help me with the ID? Location: Nufenen Pass, Switserland, ca 2400 m altitude. End july 2007. Steeply sloping alpine meadow with meting water, may large boulders. The flies were mostly resting at these stones, as in the photogrpahs. Medium sized robberfly. Cor Zonneveld attached the following image: [122.68Kb] Thanks for your attention Cor Zonneveld |
