 New Checklist of Diptera of Switzerland

After 26 years, the first full update of the checklist of Swiss Diptera is now published. It has again been a collaborative project in which over 55 authors have taken part. It includes 7514 species in 105 families, with many newly recorded species for Switzerland. Each family is treated as a separate chapter, with its own bibliography in which key works useful for the identification of Swiss species are listed, as well as faunistic and taxonomic literature.
