Species ID of Anthophora in Portugal is difficult to impoosible because of too many species. A common and very early species, which looks like your species, is Anthophora plumipes.

The last is an Eucera male. ID is not possible for me. In this genus exists also a lot of mediterreanea species.

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
