Hi,
Recently Vince showed us a Choerades that is very similar to mine. At least I think so. Does antenna length point to Ch. femorata?
The photo was taken on the Island of Usedom in August. The fly is sitting on the fence of a European bison park.
Regards, Sundew

Hello,

Choerades is correct, species not identifiable, but the specimen belongs to the Ch marginata - group. Length of scapus und pedicellus not good to see on any of the images. The colour of the hairs on and above the facial knob (predominantly yellow) and the white colour of the abdominal margins reminds me more of marginata than of femorata.

Greetings, Danny Wolff
