Hello,

here are three pictures of Pollenia sp. Maybe someone can identify the exact species. Pictures from March 2022. habitat sandy dry grassland in southwest Germany.

Hi Bembix, this is probably a female Pollenia angustigena:
- basicosta pale
- fore tibia: 2 pv bristles
- mid tibia: 1 ad bristle
- palpi dark(?)
- cannot see, whether it has yellow or black posteroventral hairs on mid and hind femur

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
