Hello!

This < 2 mm (without ovipositor) animal ran around at the wall of our house this morning (Ostwestfalen/Germany). In colouration it resembles very much the Gelis agilis in the gallery of hymis.de. But I think, there are others (?).

Yes there are others. According to Fauna Europaea there are 68 species of the genus Gelis known from Germany.

Hello, Camille and Jan Willem!

Thanks! I know that there are many species, but all pictures I had found except those of G. agilis show bigger animals with much more red in colouration (or totally red colour). So there is always a little hope that this special species may be some kind of exception in colour or size and can thus be identified precisely... Wink (the hope never dies...).
Best regards,
Jürgen
