Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Chironomidae, I suppose- very beautiful

Ten minutes ago. Zaragoza, Aragion Spain. Urban garden at 200 meters high. This pretty chironomid? with painted wings sizes more or less the same than a Clogmia albipucntata, about 4 mm of body lenght.

Isidro... Chironomidae -- has over 5000 species, maybe much more.

OK, but painted-winged species... can be easier. The same Paul identified me another chironomid to species level... Guttipelopia guttipennis...

I think that can belongs to subfamily Tanypodinae? PLEASE I NEED A GENUS!!!!
