Hello,
In the South of France, October 18, 2018
I think of a male
Syritta but I don't see exactly the criteria of
Syritta pipiens.
Thank you for your help

Thank you very much Morgan,
Xylota is indeed much better!
I don't know if my only two pictures give enough criteria to go to the species?

Not for me at least (quite new in the game). Don't really know which species is in france either, but for my area (Norway) this would either be X. segnis or X. tarda from the tergit coloration.

Thank you Morgan,
Xylota segnis is also well present in France and the red-orange colour of the tergites seems to indicate that it is.

Can anyone confirm Xylota segnis or another Xylota?
Thank you very much

I can confirm
X. segnis. Spines on hind femora are quite well visible and it is one of good character for that species.
