Dear Forum,

I found this insect on a wooden insect hotel, which is mostly populated by Osmia bicornis and the like. I guess it's Chrysis ignita, but I'm not an expert at all and may be completely wrong.

Anybody who can confirm or correct me?

Thanks,

Markus

Thanks for your hint, Libor, I got in contact with Paolo, and he has confirmed this to be a member of the "Chrysis ignita group, which includes many similar species, difficult to id".

Best regards,

Markus
