Hi,

today I was lucky to observe a spider wasp with its prey.
Is it possible to identify either the wasp or the spider?

Northwest-Germany Lower Saxony, Rastede, 0 m, 2019-07-18

Thanks in advance!
Thomas

My reaction for the spider is Drassodes, but I have nothing to back that up - it was just a feeling

I agree with Gnaphosidae so Drassodes is possible.

Thank you, John and Tony!
The wasp is Auplopus carbonarius, confirmed by a local Hymenoptera specialist.
