This scene took place just in front of my eyes and I had little time to shoot. I konow the wasp belongs to the Sphecidae family but that is all. Concerning the fly, I have no idea.

The Wasp is a female of Bembix oculata, which takes flies for feeding its larva. Sometimes, the wasp also feeds the fly, as it can see on the photo. For the fly, best you ask in the same forum, but in annother part of it.

The photo is really nice. My I use it for our gallery on www.galerie.hymis.de (not online for the moment),

tHE fly seems to be Miltogramminae! LOL irony... :) If it is really Miltogramminae, this fly stole food of wasps, like Bembix spp. :) It seems that the wasp "stole" the fly first.
