Hi,
This Choerades from southeastern Brandenburg is a tough nut to crack for me. Unfortunately, the great work by Reinoud (https://waarnemin...ilidae.pdf) does not cover all German species, so I used Geller-Grimm's key and comparisons (http://www.robber...rades.html). The best match seem to be Choerades ignea and C. gilva, though at first I did not assume partly red tergites. There is no chance to see the first sternite; however, the conspicuously yellow beard and the white scutellum bristles make me hope I got to the right species. What do you think?
Thanks in advance, Sundew

I would say yes! :-) The red parts on the abdomen are covered by the yellow orange hair...
