Ozhigovo station, Naro-Fominsk district, Moscow region. Size 4.5 mm, other measured specimens varied in size from 3.5 to 5 mm. Lots of those were laying eggs on a fallen tree (this time birch).

Hi Dima,
I'm curious again about what Andrey Ozerov has to say about this specimen. I think it might be
Palloptera venusta, but I have to admit that I have never seen any material of this species.

OK let's wait for Andrey Ozerov. Yesterday I re-visited that birch, so a couple of pictures in nature.

It is Toxoneura venusta (Loew). :)
