Observed and reared from the pupa in a waters sample with Psectrotanypus larvae
this pupa + exuvia + imago ?

The first pupal photo shows a P. varius indeed, but the second photo looks more like the pupa of Xenopelopia to me.

the 3 pictures are from only ONE individu, just the one I found in this sample
and I reared id to the adult.
