Hello!
Besides sitting on a leaf this wasp of about 30 mm length (without ovipositor) was mainly examinating pine trunks laying there in the forest yesterday (Ostwestfalen/Germany). Does it belong to genus
Rhyssa? Thanks in advance!

Yes, Rhyssa for sure, Rhyssa persuasorioa as a guess.
