Hello!
I am new to this forum and would like to know if somebody could help me identifying this tachinid fly? The picture was taken on 5th Sept. 2004 in East
Westphalia, Germany. Thank you very much in advance!

This is a Phasia-species. Could be P. aurigera, because of the yellow 'crown' on the mesoscutum, which extends to the anterior half.

Thanks to you both! I also got an email claiming this is P. aurigera.
