I have seen these ant-mimic (assassin?) bugs on large daisy flowers in my front garden recently - does anyone know what they are? Size: 4mm, location: southern England.

Believe me, I have been trying ... again and again and again. The initial problem was spaces in the name but after I have corrected this (to Ant-bug.jpg) I am still unable to upload it. :( The file is 79KB.

It is in. Something in the file must have triggered the security response of the CMS.

I see the picture perfectly.
The bug is Myrmecoris gracilis.

This is not
Myrmecoris - it is a nymph of
Himacerus mirmicoides - the Ant Damsel Bug, very common throughout southern Britain.
