Hi,

I found a cocoon on Salix and the attached emerged from it. It's not a species I'm familiar with so any thoughts would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

I'm sorry, but is wrong. While the family is right, the subfamily (Tenthredininae) is wrong.
This is how a Rhogogaster sp. anal cell appears

My guess is that this one could be Nematus or Pachynematus. But to be sure it's necessary to check at least claws, antennae, clypeus and part of abdomen
