Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Dioctria atricapilla with prey

Added to the forum as an account of prey, which i believe is Capsus ater.
It was taken in Berkshire, England on June 3rd 2007.
Initially seen on a grass stem (edge of footpath) on the ancient woodland edge of a valley mire in a lowland heath site, disturbed and re-located to the bracken as pic.
Is this the done thing, useful information, etc.?

Yes, this information is a nice addition to the picture, but better with the picture attached :p

Here's another, again from Berkshire, though from 20th June 2005. Seen in rough grassland, and possibly of interest because of a couple of attendant scavengers. Jackal Flies?
