Number 3: maybe a Syrphidae? Near Wanhati, Marowijne, Suriname.

Yes, Syrphidae! :) And I would say it belong to the tribe Eristalini or close (once more, venation speaks volumes ;) )

The dominant South American Eristalini is Palpada. This may be one.

The pattern on the thorax matches Palpada furcata. In North America that species has darker scutellum and abdomen than your fly. It may be paler in the tropics, or you may have a different species.
