Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Helophilus pendulus

Location: Near Stockholm, Sweden

Habitat: Park.
I think this is a
Helophilus sp, but which one? Perhaps it's not possible to tell from photo!? We have these in Sweden:
- Helophilus bottnicus
- Helophilus affinis
- Helophilus groenlandicus
- Helophilus hybridus
- Helophilus lapponicus
- Helophilus pendulus
- Helophilus trivittatus

Hello
For me it is clearly Helophilus pendulus male, but I am no expert.
Here I have two of this spezies in my garden, where they seem to defend their territory.
