Hi, i took this image of a robberfly a couple of years ago on a limestonerocky outcrop called Arnside Knott inLancashire. It was ~15 mm and stayed quite nicely for a photo.

I think it could be Machimus rusticus - would anybody agree or offer an alternative ID?
