Hello!
This Dolichopodid came to the light yesterday (Ostwestfalen/Germany). Length about 6 mm. Can it be identified? Thanks!

HI, Juergen, I think body/wing length is at most 3.5 mm. If you agree, then the most probable version is a female of
Hercostomus fulvicaudis (Haliday, 1851) [Sybistroma] (Loew, 1857: Progr.Realsch.Meseritz 1857: 9) *
=Sybistroma fulvicaudis Haliday, in: Walker, Stainton & Wilkinson, 1851: Ins. brit. 1(1): 154 [F Walker, 1851] ** Palaearctic: Great Britain, Sweden, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Estonia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Czech, Slovakia, Ukraine: Kherson, Odessa, Uzhhorod; Russia: Voronezh, Lipetsk; Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, China * Hercostomus

Ok, maybe I have estimated it too high because of the slender habitus and long legs.
If you agree, then the most probable version is a female of
Hercostomus fulvicaudis
Many thanks!
