Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tipulidae larva? 2015-03-25 => Tipula sp.

Hi,

is this the larva of a Tipulid, can someone confirm this? I found it in a pile of rotten wood.

Length 27 mm.

Yes, it's Tipula, almost certainly subgenus Lunatipula
