Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Chlorops sp.? --> Cetema cf. cereris

Hello!

This Chloropid in our garden yesterday (Ostwestfalen/Germany) was about double the size of a Thaumatomyia (4 mm). Does it belong to genus Chlorops? Thanks!

I'd say it is Cetema, most probably Cetema cereris.
