The creature has pulvilli at its feet, so no Acnephalum. It looks very similar to Eriopogon laniger but it is not! Abdomen seems not to be laterally flattened. It also has white dusting on the hind corners of the tergites....but this might be Jothopogon cf leucomallus.

You are welcome. But it also looks a bit like this one: http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=46336 a Pycnopogon species. I should get more familiar with these genera....
