Thread subject: Diptera.info :: unknown egg clutch in a pond => Chaoboridae

Dear egg specialists,

I got a (none-expert) hint that these eggs could belong to Chaoboridae - can someone confirm this? Or aren't they determinable at all?

These are typical chaoborid eggs. I don't think any other family produces this flat spiral egg mass.

This circular egg mass is known for Chaoborus species. I believe that Mochlonyx lays its eggs singly.
