Hi,

i would like to know who did this hole on this Fagus sylvatica leaf formation. Insect or the beetle? Found in Slovenia.

The growth on the leaf looks like the gall of the midge Mikiola fagi (Cecidomyiidae). I'm not sure what the weevil is doing there.
