Saw this beetle in Shasta co. in the Klamath mountains. Any idea what it can be? Suggestions on family/genera or species is much appreciated.

Not much visible yet I think it's a
Dichelonyx sp. (Scarabaeidae, Melolonthinae, Dichelonychini)
