Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, Liether Kalkgruben near Tornesch, at an uncultivated natural area, 25 m, Outsidefoto: kuv, 13th of May 2015. Perhaps it could be Criorhina_asilica? Please help to get the ID.

I'm no expert, but I found
C. asilica less hairy. I would say,
Criorhina berberina.

Thank you very much Jürgen - I'll change headline, I hope that there is an expert to confirm your opinion.

In my opinion, C. berberina is more hairy :-)

Yes treebeard, that pictures, named Criorhina berberina by Steven Falk, show a more hairy Syrphid. Thanks for this hint. For "my" fly this may perhaps suggest in direction of C. asilica. So I hope that this lines will be read by an expert, who tells me the "real" ID of "my" fly ...
