These tiny gall midges had antennae that looked like a ram's horn, at least some of them did. On some the antennae were shorter, these are the females?
I'll post three photos. All these Gall Midges were hanging from spider's webs. Can we assume these are the same species Tony Irwin wrote about in his article, Aphidoletes aphidimyza? Tony indicated several families of fly hung from spider webs. For now I have them labeled Cecidomyiidae; can anyone take the ID further?
