Hi,
Can anyone assist with suggestions towards an Id for this Cranefly please ?
The pictures were taken in my garden Surrey Southern England yesterday 25th May 2007 - She was ovipositing in the debris at the bottom of a rot hole in my apple tree aproximately 1.5M above ground. The fly was larger than most craneflies I see at approx 25 -30mm in length.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Regards Chas
