With those long tarsi, has to be Chironomidae, right? Wings are wider than usual, and I don't remember seeing a Midge before with this many spots on the wings. Any ideas about subfamily or genus?

With the simple antennae and plump abdomen, a female?

Help with ID appreciated!

Wetland about 0.5 km from the Pacific Ocean. Oregon, USA, 13 May 2007. Length 4.2 mm to the tip of the abdomen.

Chironomidae, Tanypodinae, probably Psectrotanypus.
