Thread subject: Diptera.info :: unknown fly

Hi,
Please could anyone help me to id this? Ive been looking around but im still not sure which family it could be.
Taken a few weeks back in rural sussex uk ...im not sure on the size,from memory a small-medium fly?

It's a long-legged fly (Dolichopodidae)

I am not sure, but the fly looks like female of:
Gymnopternus cupreus (Fallen, 1823) [Dolichopus] (Loew, 1857: Progr.Realsch.Meseritz 1857: 21) *
=Dolichopus cupreus Fallen, 1823: Monogr.Dolich.Svec. [= Dipt.Svec. 2]: 15 ** Type locality: Sweden: Westrogothia.
