Can this fly be named..?
Found 4-7-2009 in Zeist, Holland

Yes that's correct but for Hedy, in the Netherlands it is still called
Paritamus geniculatus. It is time to change that........

In Britain and Belgium it is also still called
Paritamus no dipterist seems to have noticed Lehr's work or took time to read it, Asilidae are strangely enough not popular : )
