Dear all,
in a horticultural farm producing Calluna in southwestern Germany, great damage is caused by root feeding larvae of Tipulidae (?). Any idea which species it is?

Most likely something like Tipula paludosa or T. oleracea. You can name this larva T. oleracea group.
