Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Leopoldius brevirostris? -> probably signatus

Unfortunately, all my pictures are from the same angle, this one is the sharpest. On other pictures you can see some part of yellow nose. Snout is alamost invisible. I am not sure, what is meant under "frons" - is it a part above antennas?

Male Leopoldius are duifficult to identify with certainty, but from the large dorsal patches of the femora, and the all-black frons (ie the section above the antennae) I would guess L. signatus.
