Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Rhinophoridae ?

Hi,

Is this one of the Tachinidae ? the photos were taken in Surrey Southern England on 6th July 2006 unfortunaetly I didn't record the size.

IT's the male of Rhinphora lepida (Rhinophoridae)
Small, but very common indeed.
Easy feature: topcel is stalked, and mouth is a little projecting
