Caught in Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain, in a wall.
Size: 10-12 mm.

Yes :( my collection was forgotten during two years while I was living in Castellon... now is difficult repair them, a part is repaired, but clean each insect with a brush and trying not broke the pins is an Herculean work... without enough time to do it!
The colour of the fly is the same of the picture. Only the pin is oxided. The fly is enterely brown, not have orange or black marks.

Again, the pic by Isidro does not show, at least not at this moment on my computer. Is it Isidro, or is there some problem with the site, Paul ?

no problem with Isidros pics here. Maybe you ought to delete your web cache.
No opinion about the fly. But it might give me thoughts about buying stainless steel pins ...
