Hello!

Here are pictures of some flies from Hanover in Lower Saxony, Germany, of this week.

I think, it will be difficult to identify them, so I'll try this great forum to get an answer.

Is the upper one a Calliphora vicina?

Greetings, Freddy...

Just a comment - as the flies span different families it might be better to post them as 3 individual threads :) The second one looks like a tachinid, but I can't make out enough detail to say which.

The upper one is indeed C. vicina, a female.

The lower one is a Muscid-Anthomyiid-Fanniid. Maybe the pros can tell you more, but do not expect a lot within these families.

1. Calliphora (Calliphoridae)
2. Tachinidae sp.
3. Anthomyiidae sp. (probably Zaphne)

Three flies, three families.

Second one might be Phorocera
