Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Orange larvae to ID

I found this larvae cleaning my garden from the dry leaver of fruit trees, It's long 6,3 mm.
Could it be a Syrphidae larvae?

Syrphidae is o.k., but don't know the genus or species name.

Thanks atylotus, the most similar genus seem to be Syrphus.

Hello, if you have larvae there nearly sow can you try to rase up to adult Syrphus? Give the food and sow and wait if happening something..

Aphids, but right now seem ready to developing into pupae (I think).
