Hi!
this is another fly photographed two days ago (24.april.2007) in the same location: Nucsoara (Romania) ~ 700 m.
size of the body aprox 15 mm.
maybe because of that particular (at least for me) form can be identified. this is the only i was able to take.
EDIT: title change

This actually is in the family Ptychopteridae and in the genus Ptychoptera. Notice the wing with M vien branched toward the margin, a charcater for this family. Check Gabor's website for Hungary you might get a name for it.

Hi Chen,
thanks for help.
i have checked Gabor's gallery, there are tree specimens all Ptychoptera sp. but this are not like mine :).
also i have checked the gallery for this family and this don't exist there.
iwill see what can i do with that here, even i don't know any romanian book who deals with this long legged flies.

There are about 12 species of Ptychoptera recorded in Europe. Someone who is knowledgible of this group would be Wieslaw Krzeminski from Krakow, Poland and you may want to check him out.

so here is anoter ptychopterid. found yesterday on a wet area close to Timisoara in a mainly Phragmites vegetation.
maybe for this an ID will be possible.
also i have send this thread internet link to Wieslaw Krzeminski, maybe some help will come also from there.
