Hello! I'm a new member of this forum, and I have some pictures that I can't identify. This one is a big (less or more 4 cm long) robber fly that I caught dead in a pool, en Alfocea, Aragon, Spain, in steppe-land.

Could you give me a identification?

Thanks ;)

I know this rare species from North Africa. It's the first time somebody showed it from Spain, but there are some records, too. It's a female of Eccoptopus longitarsis (Macquart, 1838). Yours
