Hi All,

I found this small conopid in a malaise-trap in May this year. I think it's a Myopa, maybe Myopa tesselatipennis. Note the wing pattern (no obvious black spot at the cross vein at basis of cell R (cfr. Van Veen, Faunist website).

Can anyone identify the species?

Thanks in advance

It's a Myopa indeed. I'd say that it's M. buccata, because the cross veins are whitish instead of dark.
