Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Nomenclatura problems

In my keybook (Russia, 1957) with such a long antenae I come to Cerioides conopoides, which name as I can see from i-net not valid anymore.
There are Ceriana conopsoides (with resemble but another shape of antenae) and Callicera spinolae (much more hairy).
Help me please.

Although my knowledge of Syrphidae is very limited, I would say try the genus Chrysotoxum. But don't worry, there are enough people who can probably tell you the name of this species immediately.

Jan Willem is right: this is a species of Chrysotoxum, most probably C. festivum.
