Hi !

Center of France, size 12/15 mm, 2013.07
Is Choerades femoratus a good choice ?

Very good choise but C. marginatus would also be a very good choise. These two species are very hard to seperate. Have a look here please: http://www.geller-grimm.de/choerade.htm

Thanks Quaedfleigh, you are right, difficult choice but I checked with Fauna Europa and find C. femorata is absent of french mainland so, probably C. marginata.

The status of C. femorata is unclear. When the species is definately recognised it will probably also be a French species. B)
