Hi,
Recently I saw some of these medium-size grey males on Umbellifers in Southern Brandenburg. They bore a certain resemblance with Sarcophagids, especially as to the bare red eyes and the plumose arista. However, they had no parafacial setulae and only a minute appendix to M 1+2. So I suppose they might be Tachinids. The palps seemed to have a yellow tip. Please help to find a name! Thanks in advance, Sundew

Something like Dinera ferina or carinifrons perhaps? :)
