Jorge,

In a British context I would say this is Rhagio scolopaceus, the only other one we get with mottled wings is Rhagio strigosus, but this is much less widespread (a close-up of the antennae would help, strigosus has a rounded third segment, scolopaceus has a pointed third segment).

However, according to Fauna Europaea both R. scolopaceus and R. strigosus are unrecorded from Portugal, and there are lots of Rhagio spp. listed that don't occur in Britain :(, so you'll need confirmation from elsewhere I think.

is this Rhagio could be these:
Rhagio latipennis (Loew, 1856). --- ok, not so large wings... so it is improbable that this is R. latipennis..

(OR)

Rhagio lineola Fabricius, 1794.

I don?t have literature to see the characters for these.
