found on bottom side of a fungus (
Fomes fomentarius ) in a forest near Marburg, Hesse, Germany. I would be grateful for any suggestions. Regards, Ingo

Keroplatidae, probably genus Keroplatus (or Cerotelion?)

Krivosheina (2012) gives a key for Keroplatidae to genus level and according to her, the shape of the head capsule is diagnostic.

Thank you very much. Today I have tried to find such a larva again (to take a better picture of the head). However now they are untraceable... Regards, Ingo
